The New Forest
Picturesque Villages, bustling market towns, a special atmosphere and timelessness. Of course you will want to enjoy the woodland walks and there is something for everyone in the Forest.

  • Drive past the docks leaving Southampton behind, first stop is Eling to see the UK's only working productive Tide Mill.
  • On through the Forest to stunning Beaulieu for the Abbey and Palace House, spies trained here once.
  • Learn about Commoners and their ancient rights over Europe's largest surviving area of ancient pasture woodland.
  • Discover hidden airfields used in the War, then on to Brockenhurst to drive through the Ford - known locally as The Splash!
  • Venture along the Rhinefield Drive and for tales of witches and spells the village of Burley and the Rufus Stone.
  • Finally Lyndhurst, home of the Court of Verderers for shopping and more, New Forest Museum and tea rooms galore.

Another half day tour which may not be long enough once you have sampled the delights of Beaulieu or had a glimpse of the New Forest ponies.

Some lunch in a quaint English pub, a drink by the river, you decide, we drive. Go for the day to include Buckler's Hard where ships for Nelson's fleet were built.

Prices from £120.00 for 2 persons
