The 11th century cathedral, the Great Hall and King Arthur’s

a destination for all seasons.
Following collection from your hotel, the
airport or cruise terminal here is an idea of what to expect:
- Direct to Winchester, the Saxon capital of England,
King Alfred they say ‘the greatest Englishman that
ever lived!’
- On foot to explore the Rectory, City Bridge and Mill
then the Mayors’ Abbey Gardens and England’s
oldest City street.
- No taxes at Westgate these days and on to The Great
Hall and King Arthur’s Round Table and stories of
Camelot and brave Knights in shining armour.
- See what remains of the Castle, Oliver Cromwell to thank,
his fight against the Royalists really took its toll.
- At last the Cathedral, the pilgrims before you had travelled
so far, the tomb of Jane Austen resides here amongst past
Kings and Queens.
- Then off past Pilgrims Hall back to today, the shops
and the restaurants paving the way.
